This is a family business that attempts to present a museum that is famous for is variety of tricks that are presented in the form of experiments that supposedly take place on the equatorial line. Tricks and hoaxes where the tourists fall in the fraud of being surprised by the sensationalism that many guides and informal tour operators look for with the objective of falling in the good graces of the tourists. However, many of the tourists possess a great intellect. Many of them are scientists and are not deceived by this series of hoaxes executed with fraud.
The most anecdotal thing about this museum is that it isn’t even found on the equatorial line. It is 130 meters to the south of the equator line (revise Google Earth). For that reason, the supposed experiments become no more than ridiculous tricks.
In the same way, in this site the guides demonstrate GPS equipment that has been previously programmed with an antique geographic data set called SAP 69 that gives a false reading of 0°00’0” and in doing so becomes a true fraud.
Recommendation: If you are going to use GPS, utilize the geographic data that is current for the whole world: the data set, WGS 84, the same that is based on modern mathematical reference models and is completely precise without intentional margins of error likes those created for military security. We recommend visiting (WGS 84).
